Coldplay 2014 Summer Tour Dates Announced, Six Intimate Shows Around the World, See Dates Here (VIDEO)
Coldplay will be releasing their highly anticipated new album, Ghost Stories, on May 19th and now the band has announced that they will mark the release of their new album by playing six intimate shows in six cities around the world.
The exclusive tour dates currently are:
25 April - E-Werk, Cologne, Germany
05 May - Beacon Theatre, New York, USA
19 May - Royce Hall, Los Angeles, USA
28 May - Casino de Paris, Paris, France
12 June - Dome City Hall, Tokyo, Japan
01 July - Royal Albert Hall, London, UK
Tickets for the Cologne show will go on sale at 9am CET on Saturday, 19 April from eventim.de/coldplay. Ticket information for the remaining five shows will be emailed exclusively to Coldplay Messenger subscribers. If you aren't signed up, you can do so here.
Coldplay released their new single for their fans on March 3, 2014, titled "Magic" (listen to track above). Coldplay's sixth album, Ghost Stories, is set to be released from Parlophone/Atlantic Records on May 19, 2014. You can pre-order Ghost Stories now. A Deluxe CD edition of the album, featuring three bonus tracks, is available exclusively from Target at target.com/coldplay.
You can also pre-order Ghost Stories now from iTunes worldwide. Fans who pre-order Ghost Stories will receive an instant download of Magic, the first single from the album.
Coldplay formed in 1996 and became known worldwide with their hit single "Yellow" in 2000. Their debut album Parachutes including the hit single won the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album.
