The video was filmed on Calamigos Ranch in scenic Malibu, Calif. The video was produced and directed by Laurie Leinonen-Balog. "Filming "We Are America" was one of the best two days of my life! We wanted to bring the melting pot of America to one location, so casting was a huge part of the process. The video is as captivating and energizing as the song. It highlights the authentic spirit of America. A visual reminder that we aren't like any other nation. We are America!" said Mather.
"We Are America" shows Mather in a new light. Her previous three MusicRow CountryBreakoutTM Chart singles ("That Was The Whiskey," "Hell Hath No Fury," "Countrified") were targeted at Country audiences and more focused on the singer's sense of fun and showcasing her amazing vocal versatility. Appealing to a broader scope of listeners, the new release takes an unapologetic patriotic stand.
