Watch the Showers Brand New Video "I Need You Lord" Here
Stellar Award nominated family group, The Showers released the music video for their heartfelt rising radio single "I Need You Lord," written by group member Titus Showers, Sr. and co-written by Tasha Page Lockhart with production by Bruce Robinson, Jr. and Page-Lockhart.
"I Need You, Lord," is the lead single from the group's forthcoming national sophomore album set to be released this fall on their family owned A&P Records imprint and is available now on all digital providers on sale including iTunes, GooglePlay and AmazonMusic. The new album will feature three songs penned and produced from lead member, Titus Showers, Sr, with songwriting contributions by Tasha Page Lockhart and production by Shawn Willis, Clifton Lockhart and Bruce Robinson, Jr. Directed by Terrence Crowley, the music video took place at the former home of the Showers family after their house burned down on March 2nd 2017. The Showers family patriarch, Pastor Bobby R. Showers Sr. and his son and lead singer Titus Showers watched their family home burn down before their eyes as the wind spread the flames, engulfing the entire home in smoke. The family built the home in May 1998, where Pastor Showers and his wife raised 10 children -- six girls and four boys. The locally well-known minister of Zion Travelers Missionary Baptist Church in Independence and Rose Valley Baptist Church in Rosalind along with his wife, three children and two grandchildren were currently living in the home. |
The Showers have created a body of music that speaks to every type of believer in Christ. They pride themselves in also creating music that is able to touch the un-churched and compel those who are not deemed "believers" to want to know more about the Christian faith. With a style that is soulful and contemporary, while remaining steeped in the traditional Gospel sound, The Showers are poised to reach and minister to a myriad of people. About The Showers: |
