Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers to Hit the High Seas Aboard 2018 Country Music Cruise
In February 2018, legendary country music trio Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers will take their signature harmonies to the sea as they board The Country Music Cruise on its 5th anniversary voyage. The eight-day cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Florida aboard Holland America's Signature class ship, the Nieuw Amsterdam, on February 3 and journey on to St. Maarten and St. Kitts before returning to Fort Lauderdale on February 10.
"I am excited and honored to be back on The Country Music Cruise," says Larry Gatlin. "Especially on this 5th anniversary journey. I was on the first one back in 2014, so it means a lot to me to be asked to help celebrate with the guests and the team on-board. The whole cruise, from the concerts to the country-filled events to all of the time the artists spend with the fans, is like nothing else out there."
Steve Gatlin adds, "In addition to our country performances, we are also planning a special gospel music show featuring us and several of our friends. Stay tuned for more info!" The Gatlins won't be the only performers singin' on the Caribbean.
Next year's lineup includes Alabama, Mickey Gilley, Lorrie Morgan, Bobby Bare, Jim Stafford, Johnny Lee, T. Graham Brown, Dailey & Vincent, Lacy J. Dalton, Asleep At The Wheel, Jeannie Seely, Wade Hayes, Chuck Mead and his Grassy Knoll Boys, comedian Jon Reep, Crook & Chase's Lorianne Crook and several Elvis tribute artists. The cruise will also present a very special performance event, the Grand Ole Opry At Sea, bringing the best of the country music institution onto the ship just for guests. "The Country Music Cruise is so wonderful, I wish it was more than once a year," notes Rudy Gatlin. "I could go on one about every 3 or 4 months! Hope to see y'all on the big boat next February!"
Next year's country music party on the ocean is nearing a sell-out. A limited number of cabins are still available for purchase. For more information visit CountryMusicCruise.com or call the reservations center at 866-476-2879.
