Bishop T.D. Jakes' Third Biennial International Faith & Family Film Festival Brings in a Host of Hollywood Stars
In an inspirational convergence of entertainment, faith and business, the undisputed leading voice in global ministry, Bishop T.D. Jakes hosted his third biennial International Faith & Family Film Festival during MegaFest in Dallas over the weekend. With an estimated record attendance of nearly 100,000 visitors from all 50 states and countless countries, the star-studded panels, workshops, performances and specials screenings at the International Faith & Family Film Festival saw sold-out rooms with guests spilling into hallways with standing-room-only during various programs.
Recognized as the world's largest multi-day family festival, the four-day event attracts a diverse collection of influencers, professionals and experts in their respective fields ranging from TV/film, Sports, Music, Ministry, Literature and Business, but ultimately looks to achieve what the Bishop's mission has always been- to bring hope and healing to broken people in all walks of life, pushing them to move forward in the direction of their divine callings.
"Three MegaFests down, I remain moved and reminded as to why we put so much into the two full years planning each Megafest," said Derrick Williams, Executive VP of T.D. Jakes Films & Entertainment. Adding, "Again this year, I witnessed lives transformed and spirits empowered from our slate of screenings, panels, expert sessions and entertainment programs on film making, social media, health, financial literacy and more. I am proud and myself encouraged to offer such diverse and practical programs to students, industry executives, stay-at-home moms and A-list actors alike."
