Justin Unger Releases New Album "I Don't Walk Alone"
Recently, after many requests from friends and fans, Justin Unger has released his new album I Don't Walk Alone. This project features new and old songs with a bluegrass flare. Justin loves creating and leaning into many different styles of music to reach as many people as he can with the message of hope in Jesus.
Justin Unger, born and raised in Phoenix Arizona, is most importantly husband to his wife Falon and father to his four children. Justin and his family currently reside in Huntington Beach California. For the past 17 years Justin has been a song writer and performer, and has traveled the country sharing songs and leading worship for the Church.
He wrote his first catalog of songs at the age 15 with his grandfather Larry Wright, who was his closest friend and mentor. His songwriting and his voice eventually landed him a record deal in Nashville TN with Warner Brothers / Word Records in the Christian pop rock duo "Across The Sky". After 5 years of touring and living on the road, Justin felt called to settle down and start a family. So he and his wife moved back to Arizona with their brand new baby and began to minister in a local church in Prescott Arizona as the Worship Pastor at The Heights Church.
Since then, Justin has been very passionate about leading and shepherding the Church in Worship in Spirit and in Truth. He feels specifically called to help bridge the cultural and generational gap in worship so that the body can worship and grow in unity and oneness.
Justin is the Founder and Executive Director of the Likewise Worship Collective; a non-profit 501(c)(3) ministry. The Likewise Worship Collective exists for the purpose of training, discipling and equipping gifted worship leaders that God is calling to shepherd His people in the local church. This ministry also comes alongside churches and other ministries all around the country to help develop a stronger and more effective worship culture and philosophy as they gather together in worship.
