Newsboys United To Headline Fox and Friends' All-American Summer Concert Series
Joining the ranks of some of today's biggest artists, Christian music supergroup Newsboys United is set to headline FOX and Friends' "All-American Summer Concert Series" next Friday, August 16. Throughout the top-rated cable morning show's live broadcast, Newsboys United will take the stage outside FOX News headquarters in New York to deliver a string of hits from their unparalleled three-decade career.
The star-studded "All-American Summer Concert Series" has showcased such artists as the Charlie Daniels Band, Skillet, Big & Rich, Gavin DeGraw and Justin Moore, among others, to date this year. FOX News Channel-the #1 network in cable-is available in nearly 90 million homes and has been the most watched television news channel for 17 consecutive years.
Following their FOX and Friends appearance, Newsboys United will return to the road this fall for the "Greatness Of Our God" Tour. Once again bringing together former members Peter Furler and Phil Joel with Newsboys' Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein and Jody Davis, the autumn outing is bound for more than 30 cities nationwide and will feature GRAMMY®-nominated Gotee recording artist Ryan Stevenson, along with acclaimed singer/songwriter Adam Agee and a special guest appearance by former dcTalk member and singer/songwriter Kevin Max.
Showcasing the historic six-member lineup, Newsboys' latest release, United, bowed in May from FairTrade Services and debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Christian Albums chart. A 10-song collection of compelling praise & worship moments and powerful pop tracks, United was produced by Peter Furler and Geoff Duncan.
One of the most influential bands in Christian music history, GRAMMY®-nominated, Platinum®-selling Newsboys have sold more than 10 million units, amassed eight Gold® certifications, 33 #1 radio hits, four GRAMMY® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards. Since their formation in Australia three decades ago, Newsboys have released 24 recordings and their signature songs include "We Believe," "He Reigns," "Miracles," "Born Again" and the Platinum®-certified mega hit, "God's Not Dead."
