Greater Vision Offers Encouraging Thanksgiving Message

Since December of 1990, Greater Vision has inspired audiences with their rich vocal blend and their effective ability to communicate the message of the gospel. They have established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian music, and have become the most awarded trio in the history of Gospel music. On this Thanksgiving week, Greater Vision has taken the time to encourage us with these words:
"Everybody knows, the fourth Thursday in November is designated as a Federal Holiday in the United States. President Abraham Lincoln officially proclaimed the first "National Day of Thanksgiving" in 1863, describing it as "...a national day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father, who dwelleth in the Heavens." 156 years later, our nation still observes Thanksgiving Day, as a day to gather with family and friends to celebrate and give thanks for the many blessings we too often take for granted.
In reality, every day should be a day of thanks-giving. King David began his 107th Psalm by writing, "O give thanks to The Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever!" Our motivation for thanks-giving should extend beyond the wonderful blessings of food, shelter, health, family, friends, and finances. The mercy and grace God has extended to us, through Jesus Christ, should affect our attitudes every day. Regardless of where we are or how we feel today, tomorrow, or any other day, "He is Good! For His mercy endures forever!" King David's earlier proclamation, in the last verse of his best-known Psalm (23), should be the motivation for an attitude of gratitude that lasts beyond November 28, 2019. "Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of The Lord, forever!""
Gerald Wolfe, the group's founder, serves as Pianist and Emcee. Multi-Award-winning Songwriter, Rodney Griffin, sings the Lead part for the trio. Chris Allman, Gospel Music's Favorite Tenor, and also a prolific songwriter, sings Tenor. Jon Epley is the newest member of the group, having joined April of 2017 as the Baritone singer.
Greater Vision appears regularly on the InTouch television program, hosted by Dr. Charles Stanley, as well as on the Gaither Gospel Series. Gerald also serves as a co-host on Bill Gaither's syndicated "Homecoming Radio" Show, heard weekly on almost 3000 radio stations around the world, as well as on satellite radio. Their most recent endeavor is as a part of the very popular "Gospel Music Hymn Sing" DVDs and coinciding GMHS events across the USA.
Greater Vision's latest recording, "You've Arrived," was produced Trey Ivey. The new CD features brand-new songs written by both Rodney Griffin and Chris Allman, along with other well-known writers.
More than 175 times every year, Greater Vision presents the Gospel, through music, in a way that has endeared them to audiences around the world.
