Sidewalk Prophets Expand “The Chosen Tour” Across the Country
Curb | Word Entertainment's Sidewalk Prophets announce changes to "The Chosen Tour," continuing to break new ground with first-of-its-kind technology and out-of-the-box creativity. This livestream concert experience, which starts on 11/5, will be available regionally across the country, allowing more fans in more cities to participate in the concert experience based upon the region of the country where they live. Fans will also have the rare opportunity to determine the band's set list in real time for each show, ensuring every performance is completely unique. Although each concert will broadcast to a different region of the country with a different set of fans each night, Sidewalk Prophets will perform every show live from their venue in Nashville.
With "The Great Big Family" in mind, the group debuted their innovative livestream platform earlier this year when COVID-19 pressed pause on live events and large gatherings. Named for the band's current single which is gaining momentum at Christian radio, "The Chosen Tour" follows the extraordinary success of Sidewalk Prophets' first livestream concert run, "The Virtual Album Experience," which took their latest album, The Things That Got Us Here, directly to more than 25,000 viewers in 32 cities.
"We're really excited about these new regional livestream dates because it allows so many more people to attend the show. We miss getting to play live shows, but at the same time, we have really been enjoying this season of connecting with fans in unique and creative ways," shares Sidewalk Prophets front man Dave Frey. "The most fun part of the whole experience is letting the audience pick our set list in real time. It keeps us on our toes, and each night is completely different from the next. It's a lot of fun for the fans, and it's a lot of fun for us!" Frey adds.
Another exciting update to "The Chosen Tour" is that tickets are free or pay-what-you-can. During this unprecedented time, Sidewalk Prophets is committed to spreading joy through music, regardless of fans having the inability to purchase a full-price ticket. Only one ticket is needed per household, and fans have premium ticket options, which include the livestream, a VIP pre-show party ($34.99), and a live shout-out during the concert ($24.99).
