Phil Thompson Proclaims a New-Found Confidence with "Only a Risen King"

In anticipation of Phil Thompson debut album for Integrity Music, he has released the album's latest and third single. "Only a Risen King," which is available for download and streaming today, has a boldness that comes from knowing your identity in God.
Phil shares, "my favorite type of boldness is when you're standing on God's word; that type of confidence is unbreakable when you understand the nature of the Father."
We are not ashamed
To declare Your glory
And Your majesty
You're the only risen King
When I call Your name
All the earth will tremble
And the darkness must flee
You're the only risen King
We can stand sure in knowing that lying is not in God's makeup and that true rest comes from trusting Him. 'Only Risen King' is braggadocios in a hip-hop way - but obviously not boasting about self, rather boasting about the Father!
Thompson's new album Lion of Judah will be released on July 23rd. It will not only feature "Only a Risen King," but also his previous singles such as "Jesus" and "Constant Mercies."
