We the Kingdom Celebrates the First Anniversary of "Holy Water" & a Gold Single

CCM band We the Kingdom are celebrating the first anniversary of their debut album Holy Water. They are also elated that the single "Holy Water" has been certified by RIAA as gold. Holy Water was released last year on Aug. 7, and the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Christian Album chart and in the Top 10 on the All-Genre US iTunes Sales chart. The band comprises of Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Franni Rae Cash, Martin Cash and Andrew Bergthold.
"Goodness gracious, our minds are blown," We the Kingdom writes. "Last week we celebrated the first anniversary of our debut album "Holy Water" and just found out that the song has gone gold. Wow. This is just evidence that these songs that God has given us are reaching people and touching their hearts. We are so grateful we get to be a part of what God is doing in the world.
Music is something that reminds us how thin the veil is between Heaven and earth and helps push back the darkness. It is a powerful weapon against the enemy. We are celebrating the gifts God has given us in these songs and in each one of our teammates. Gosh, we love each and every one of you.
Thank you for helping us carry the story and share the music. The fact that our music has become part of the soundtrack to some of your lives, just makes us wanna fall down and shout! We love y'all! Thank you so much."
The song "Holy Water" was written by Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Franni Cash, Martin Cash, and Andrew Bergthold. The single became We the Kingdom's debut entry on the US Hot Christian Songs chart, having peaked at No. 2. "Holy Water" was also nominated for the GMA Dove Awards for Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year and at the 2020 GMA Dove Awards.
