Prestonwood Baptist Church Honors Veterans with "National Salute Project"

Prestonwood Baptist Church will host "National Salute Project" to honor church members who have served and are currently serving in the U.S. Military, as well as their families, this Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. CT.
"National Salute Project" will include a 21-count bell tolling in front of the church at the Plano Campus, a moment of silence to honor those who have sacrificed and those who will sacrifice, a trumpet solo of "Taps" to honor the fallen and a free lunch for each veteran and a guest.
"At Prestonwood, we love our military veterans. And we are so very grateful for those who have given their service, and many, the ultimate sacrifice for our country," said Dr. Jack Graham, pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church.
"November 11, 2021, marks the 100th anniversary of the burial of the unknown soldier who fought and died in World War I. So on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, we at Prestonwood will pause to give honor where honor is due and recognize those who have sacrificed and continue to do so in defense of America's freedom and democracy."
