David Leonard Signs with Provident Label Group with New Music Coming
David Leonard, previously one-half of the GRAMMY-nominated worship duo All Sons And Daughters, has signed a deal with Provident Label Group. Leonard now joins a roster that include artists such as KB, Matthew West, and Casting Crowns. Leonard is currently working on a new album that is scheduled to be released next year.
"We are so excited to welcome David Leonard to the Provident Label Group family," the label shared on Instagram with a picture of David with their team.
Prior to forming All Sons & Daughters with singer/guitarist Leslie Anne Jordan, Leonard played in a Christian Southern rock outfit called Jackson Waters before serving as a touring keyboardist for CCM giants Needtobreathe.
Basing himself out of Journey Church in Franklin, Tennessee, he and fellow worship leader Jordan began writing and performing together as All Sons & Daughters in 2009. Signing with the Integrity label, their folk-driven worship songs found a widespread fan base throughout the 2010s, and over the course of their four full-length albums, the duo was nominated for both Grammy and Dove Awards and charted on the Christian, Folk, Heatseeker, and Billboard Top 200 charts.
Following the release of 2016's Poets & Saints, he and Jordan decided to part ways as a band. Leonard made his debut as a solo artist in 2019 with The Wait, an album documenting his personal and spiritual journey.
