Motorola Moto X+1 Release Date Rumored to be August 2014, and Leaks of Specs and Photos Confirm That This Device Will Top the Moto X in Quality and Design
Motorola hit it big last year with the release of the Moto X. August 2014 is rumored to see the release of its successor, Moto X +1, although it will definitely be out sometime before the end of the year. The original Moto X will now be available for $100 less than normal list price, making it a reasonable $299 with absolutely no contracts and on all carriers.
The Moto X, as well as the new model Moto X +1, are fully customizable Android smartphones. Its specs highlights include 5.2-inch 1080p display, a quad-core 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 12-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, microSDXC support, a 2,900 mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
There have been several leaks of photos and specs for the Moto X+1, revealing that it has borrowed some features of the Droid Ultra line while also retaining some aspects of the original Moto X. It is speculated to launch with Android L, which has many tech junkies excited for the newest release of the Android system.
Several more features of the Moto X+1 have been reported, such as a Super AMOLED display. It is speculated that it will most likely come with a choice of 16, 32, or 64 GB sizes, while also having Micro SD card expansion for extra storage. The Moto X+1 will also have a new feature which will allow notifications to appear at the top of the screen, even while the phone is in lock mode.
You can look for the Moto X+1 sometime late this summer or early this fall.
