Kathy Troccoli Shares the Story Behind "My Savior Singing"

Christian music veteran Kathy Troccoli is back with her brand new single "My Savior Singing." Co-written by Troccoli and Michelle Margiotta, the song came after a time of prayer where Troccoli had been praying that the Lord would somehow open a portal from heaven and infuse these songs with the sounds that are in heaven.
Troccoli continues, "One day as Michelle began to compose in my office ---- I was arrested by the music. It was absolutely stunning. All I could think of was the beautiful sweeping melodies I loved as a child-the glorious orchestrations seldom heard in today's music.
"By the end of the day, "My Savior Singing" was born-birthed from Zephaniah 3:17:
The Lord your God is with you,
He is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing."
Troccoli's numerous accolades include 24 recordings, 18 number-one radio hits, 19 Dove Award nominations, 2 Dove Awards, and 3 Grammy nominations. In addition to her success in Christian music she has made quite an impact in the mainstream arena as well, scoring a top charting hit with "Everything Changes" as well as a top 10 single with the iconic Beach Boys, entitled "I Can Hear Music."
She's just as comfortable singing her heart out in a stadium alongside Billy Graham to Pope John Paul-as she is belting out a big band tune or crooning her velvet voice on a jazz standard at the iconic Metropolitan Room in New York City.
