Booth Brothers Unite Three Generations Together with Historic Recording

StowTown Records has announced the release of a historic recording from one of the Christian music's most beloved artists. Through the miracle of advanced recording technology, this monumental collection unites popular Booth Brothers, Ronnie and Michael, with their father, Ron Booth, Sr., and late uncle, Charles Booth. The end result is a musical masterpiece unlike any other.
This compilation of vintage and original songs, appropriately titled Generations, celebrates the rich musical heritage of one of the most distinguishable sounds ever recorded. "Ronnie and I are so blessed by the musical heritage our dad and uncle passed along to us," Michael shares. "Honestly, we have thought about this idea for a long time, but never knew how we would be able to make it happen. Our Uncle Charles and our dad are both heroes to Ronnie and me. As young boys, we watched them and listened to them sing with some of the leading quartets in the Gospel Music field. They were bigger than life to us, and we are so thrilled to have the privilege and opportunity to honor them in this way."
Longtime Gospel Music lovers who had the privilege of seeing the senior Booth Brothers in action will attest to their impeccable vocal tones and masterful stage presence. The mark that they made on Ronnie and Michael is indelible and, for a number of years, they did enjoy sharing the stage with their dad, but the "seniors" and "juniors" as a foursome never had the opportunity to record together - until now.
Twenty-first century recording technology has allowed the voices of Ron and Charles, which were preserved via analog tape recordings, to be restored and brought to life, then merged with the voices of Ronnie and Michael, marking the first time the four voices have been heard together on one recording. "This was a painstaking project," Ronnie shares, "but well worth the effort. It's a dream come true for us and something that we will cherish forever."
Special highlights from Generations include the Luther G. Presley classic, "In The Sweet Forever," as well as the beloved standard "Now I Have Everything." Another moving ballad, written by Robert Blackstock, titled "He Showed His Love To Me," is a prolific account of the ultimate price Christ paid on Calvary, delivered as only The Booth Brothers - Michael, Ronnie, Ron and Charles - can.
Generations preserves and honors the trademark Booth Brothers harmony, showcasing multiple generations of talent and producing a timeless recording that is destined to be enjoyed for many generations to come. StowTown Records President and CEO Landon Beene shared, "To say that our record label is excited to be bringing this one-of-a-kind recording to the public is a massive understatement. We can't wait for listeners to experience the nostalgia and the joy of this new, yet classic, sound."
Generations is distributed exclusively by Provident/Sony and is available on all digital platforms worldwide. Stream the full project here.
