David Jeremiah Releases His First Fiction Novel with An Apocalyptic Thriller

In the gripping new novel, Vanished, by New York Times bestseller author and founder of Turning Point Ministries, David Jeremiah, and writer Sam O'Neal, readers are ensconced in a world unraveling at the seams.
Blending elements of biblical prophecy with human drama, mystery, apocalyptic high stakes, and suspense this exhilarating story explores the world of the end. Set in the time period leading up the Rapture, Vanished, follows protagonist John "Haggs" Haggerty as he navigates life as a military leader and father in a world plagued by crisis. Readers are along for the ride as one catastrophe after another-pandemics, earthquakes, famines, wars, personal catastrophes-occurs and choices with potentially terrifying consequences have to be made.
Bible prophecy meets page-turning fiction with chilling realism and an unforgettable cast of characters in Dr. Jeremiah's first fiction novel.
Part one of a three-part series, Vanished delivers gripping suspense with a pulse-pounding storytelling all rooted in the biblical truth of Scripture. The book provides an apocalyptic thriller with an inspirational storyline. And its cliffhanger ending will leave readers begging for more.
"In this season of unpredictability, we believe this book will resonate deeply with audiences around the world. The Bible has laid out a clear presentation of what's to come, and we wanted to show through "Haggs" that prophecy and biblical truth are not divorced from the reality of daily life," said Dr. Jeremiah.
"In addition, we made this book fiction because I read an article recently that jolted me to the core. It said that 46% of Christians who read books read only fiction. We need to reach those individuals, and we pray this book is a gateway to that audience."
The second book of the trilogy is set during the first half of the Tribulation and is tied to Israel. The third book is set during the last half of the Tribulation and includes the Battle of Armageddon as prophesied in the biblical book of Revelation. Release dates have not been finalized.
Vanished releases on July 1, 2025.
