Robin Williams Dies at Age 63, Possibly Due to Suicide

Oscar-winning actor Robin Williams has been found dead earlier today in his California home. The cause of his death was believed to be asphyxiation, according to the coroner's office. This leads investigators to suspect that the actor committed suicide.
Robin William's wife confirmed the news. In her statement, she says: "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robins' death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
Media representative Mara Buxbaum told CNN: "He has been battling severe depression of late. This is a tragic and sudden loss. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time."
According to the Marin County Sheriff's office, a 911 call came in around 11:55 AM this Monday. It said that a "male adult has been found unconscious in his residence in Tiburon, California". He was declared dead at 12:02 PM.
