While Apple is yet to announce the release date of the iOS 8, it is widely believed that the Cupertino-headquartered tech behemoth plant to unveil the final version of its latest operating system software soon. In fact, many believe that the iOS 8 will be launched on Sept. 9.
It has been a practice with Apple to display the final version of any iOS software together with a new iPhone. As the Internet is loaded with speculations that the iPhone 6 will be launched on Sept. 9, most Apple fans believe that the company is likely to unviel its latest software on that occasion.
There are a number of theories that say that the iOS will be shown off early next month. According to one theory, Samsung is scheduled to launch its upcoming Galaxy Note 4 on Sept. 3 and Apple would definitely want to steal the show from the Korean tech titan by announcing the release of the iOS 8 before or around the same time. The evidence is that the company despatched media invites for the launch of iPhone 5s on Sept. 3 last year, just a day before Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 3.
The second theory states that Apple confirmed at the WWDC 2014 that it would release the iOS 8 during the fall. As we are approaching September, the beginning of fall, it is expected that the iOS 8 will be released anytime soon.
In June, Apple the iOS8, revealed an iOS 8 beta, and confirmed a release date for the fall. However, the company did prodive any further specifics regarding the release date and left that announcement for a later date.
