Flyleaf: New Song 'Something Better' Featuring P.O.D.'s Sonny Sandoval Released In Live Stream
Flyleaf released a live stream version of their new song 'Something Better' featuring Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D. on June 18.
The new song was released on Loudwire in preparation for the tour that Flyleaf and P.O.D. will be co-headlining this summer, beginning on July 13 and running until mid- August.
The band tweeted around 3 p.m. saying, "We couldn't wait! Brand new song 'Something Better,' w/ Sonny from @POD, is streaming live now on @Loudwire http://bit.ly/18X8WNH ""
Payable On Death also tweeted saying, "@SonnyWhosoever teamed up with @flyleafmusic on their brand new song 'Something Better' stream it on @Loudwire."
In addition, on July 9, Flyleaf we be releasing a new EP, entitled 'Who We Are,' of live songs that were recorded during the band's most recent tour with their new lead singer, Kristen May. Songs featured on the EP will include some flyleaf favorites spanning from their 2005 song 'Sorrow' to newer songs like 'Broken Wings' from their 2012 album, 'New Horizons.' The EP will also feature a studio version their new streaming song, 'Something Better.'
"It was an awesome experience writing together! Plus, having Sonny from P.O.D. on this track was really special. We've been fans of theirs for years, and it was an honor to do this collaboration. We think y'all will love it!" Flyleaf commented on the upcoming EP, according to Loudwire.
