The Strain FX TV Series Review: The Strain Series Has Acquired Great Viewership With A Newly Introduced team of 'Vampire Black Ops' That Could Lead To A Turn in the Story Line
We have the latest for you on the review of The Strain FX TV Series. The season premiere of the Strain series, a Vampire horror drama got off to a smooth start when it premiered on FX on July 13. The series created by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan, is premised on a setting where a plane lands on the J. F. Kennedy airport with the doors completely closed and the lights shut. A team of doctors headed by Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (played by Corey Stoll) are sent in only to find to their utter surprise 206 corpses and only four survivors on board. The story goes into more suspense when the corpses collected from the plane go missing after being taken to the morgue. It is only after that Dr. Goodweather and his Townsville come to learn that an ancient threat has befallen them as they battle to protect those they love and try to figure out how to overcome this new threat, vampires.
The season has so far sailed through seven episodes acquiring great viewership and a huge fan base and as its audience grows so does the intensity of the story line. This movie seems to be getting better and better with every episode. So far there is not much to dig through the latest episode 'for services rendered' as the story trudged on and made it to the end without an outbreak of chaos. People are now starting to wear protective gear and breathing masks with the threat of vampires getting ever more intense. However, the local news would rather bring press conferences of Joan Luss (played by Leslie Hope) talking about how she will sue Regis airline or bring headlines about Gabe's cancelled concert but all that is beside the point, beside what the viewer wants. For the past seven episodes, the Strain has been getting on by including just adequate scenes full of blood-sucking straws, unpleasant transformations, monster autopsies, and a great deal of vampire attacks. However, it can only get so far. It can only glide through a few seasons on gore alone. That's why the newly-introduced team of 'Vampire Black Ops' introduces a new layer that could lead to a turn in the story or even make it more interesting which hopefully will be explored next week or at least, It better be. We can only wait and see how the series continues and hope that it continues being entertaining and worth the watch.
