CBS' Creepy New Show Stalker Release Date, Cast Rumors, Latest News, Spoilers and Other Updates: Creepy Show Opens with Gruesome Opening
October 1 marks the series debut of CBS biggest show in TV history, 'Stalker'. The man behind this latest show, Kevin Williamson, who is also the person behind the hit show 'The Following' advised those who might possibly get nightmares after watching scary shows such as his latest masterpiece to go watch something else. Here's what is to be expected on the first episode of the show:
The first three minutes of the show will be the most gruesome and disturbing opening of any show ever seen in the network, or even any broadcast TV drama. It will involve a very creepy man, a terrified woman, a container filled with gasoline and an explosion. Needless to say, this show will truly get the viewer's attention.
'Stalker' is a scary and eerie program that talks about the criminal, the victim and the police perspective. It is a crime drama where just like in other similar dramas, we watch a unit investigate various crimes and solve it alongside them. It is still about the good guys catching the bad guys and taking them to prison.
There is a high volume graphic depiction of acts of violence in which some writers of the show thinks as unnecessary or justified. Still, Williamson won them over by stating to them 'Turn the Channel' as a response to why such scenes should be considered as interesting. The first three minutes of the show was to get the viewers' attention which led to the approval of CBS to let Williamson do the series.
