Destiny Beta, DLC Release Date Confirmation News: September 9, 2014 Is The Date, Available For Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4
Destiny Beta, DLC release date is now confirmed as September 9, 2014 by Activision. The game is made available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. As we all know the Beta version already ended on July 27. Activision then performed a 2 week long online test to check the user experience and real time analytics found that over 4.6 million gamers participated to play the frontline shooter role. That is a massive success for Activision.
Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg reported to a press release that "This is the biggest beta of this console generation by a wide margin and the largest console beta ever for a new video game IP to date. Hosting a beta at this scale is an incredible feat, so we're thrilled to see the phenomenal response. But the beta is just a taste of what's to come." It is no wonder that Bungie will lead the console generation game by putting forth its super legendary "The Dark Below". The Dark Below is just an expansion of Destiny, Jonty Barnes told Joystiq.
The Destiny is going to be a huge game as per Bungie. And, there will be several types of DLC for the game. It is said that gamers who will purchase Destiny Digital Guardians would also get the Expansion Pass. The Expansion Pass will allow the users to access 2 DLC Expansions 'The Dark Below' and the 'House of Wolves". However, these two expansions are not yet announced for a release. So we will have to wait for its release. The important news is that Destiny is all set to be launched on September 9, 2014 for Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360. For PC, it still remains unconfirmed.
