Blackberry Q20 Specs And Release Date: The Blackberry Q20 That Combines The Old Button-Heavy Model Of The Blackberry Devices With The Modern BB10 Operating System Not To Be Released This Year
We have the latest for you on the specs and release date of the Blackberry Q20. The Blackberry Q20 handset was and still is one of the most anticipated handsets among the users of Blackberry devices. The most unique thing about this amazing handset is that it combines the old button-heavy model of the blackberry devices with the modern BB10 operating system and for this attribute it has been dubbed the blackberry classic. Many have been awaiting its arrival into the market but sadly it won't be released this year according to what seem like internal roadmaps leaked by N4BB.
According to the roadmap, the document the Q20 is still present so it's not like it was deliberately left out and the document also shows that the blackberry 9720 should be reaching its end life by 2015 which means that the company will need to introduce a new product into the market to cover the exit of this one which only means that the blackberry Q20 will be out, but just not this year as many had anticipated.
According to the document, the manufacturers of blackberry devices have a clear view of its devices as per the market representation of the devices in the document where we have the affordable Manitoba which is the fully touch-screen handsets, the Classic which is the Q20, the innovative Windermere where the unusual passports fits in, and finally the Prestige Khan which would explain the continued partnership between Blackberry and Porsche.
According to the document, the affordable Manitoba has been dubbed to be the contemporary yet affordable device targeted for markets like Indonesia. The Classic has been dubbed the powerful yet uncomplicated, the innovative Windermere has been dubbed the unique yet purposeful handset, and the Prestige has been presented as the high design yet functional handset.
Although Blackberry has been undergoing very important and notable changes, its devices remain among the most sort-after devices with the company trying to push its non-handset technology out there by placing a new department in what was seen as an internal reorganisation of the company under the management of its new CEO John Chen. The company also released a BBM messenger app for android and iOS as well. So it will be interesting to see how the company fairs on with all these new introductions. However, we hope the Q20 will be out as well sooner rather than later.
