We have the latest for you on the Beta, release date, specs, trailer, PS3, PS4, Xbox One And Xbox 360 news of Destiny PC. Rumors about the release of Destiny PC version are just but rumors but there is good news since the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions are set to be released on September 9th as per the trailer. The PC will be available but not any time soon.
Right now gamers can start exploring three off-Earth locations that appear in the game namely Moon, Mars and Venus via Destiny planet view. Once players reach level 18, gamers who love co-op missions can enjoy exploring mars where they fight against the Cabal, who are in the ancient city looking for valuable tech. Completing missions gains players PS4-exclusive loot, which is up to fall 2015, hence players on other platforms still get a shot at completing the mission and getting loot. Bungie has released a two minute live-action trailer directed by Joseph Kosinski, director of movies oblivion and Tron: Legacy.
Lars Bakken when asked about the PC version by Eurogamer said, "I wish it was that simple. It's pretty complicated. That doesn't mean it can't happen in the future, it just means it won't happen right now."
Bungie developed all versions of the game and were not sourced by a third party developer which already poses a great challenge to the company. COO of Bungie, Pete Persons said "(but) this is a huge and ambitious project for us, and just getting it on one console would be a momentous challenge. Getting it on the same day is something we've never even tried before. We wanted to get it right, and we didn't want to add in tones more risk."
The PC version as Parsons confirmed they were not closing doors about the idea, however. He said," we love the PC. We hear it too. We ask the question of ourselves."
Destiny has a science fiction setting, an apocalyptic world 700 years in the future. The company refers to it as a "shared world shooter," and players will be able to interact with other gamers they are matched with rather than everyone else on the server.
