The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 1 News on 'Katniss, the Girl on Fire is Coming Soon'
The Hunger Games saga is almost coming to an end, and we all can't wait to see the movie version of the last book. The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay continues to follow the story of Katniss Everdeen after she escaped from the Capitol's Third Quarter Quell. Rebellion is brewing, and Katniss, no matter how reluctant she might be, became a symbol of hope across Panem. She finds herself in District 13 - something she doesn't know really exists. With the help of her friends and under President Coin's (Julian Moore) leadership, she is ready to play her part to help save Panem and Peeta.
The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 1 released a new poster, and it shows Katniss Everdeen, who's, indeed, ready for battle. A new teaser was released by Lionsgate, which was, basically, a countdown to when the full trailer is going to be released. Frustrating -- isn't it? It is a countdown for a trailer, which, again, is a countdown to when the movie is going to be released.
The full trailer is going to be released on September 15, 2014.
The advance trailer was shown to lucky fans who were present at Comic-Con. In the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 trailer above shows Katniss entering a bunker while President Coin is discussing if she is suitable to become the symbol of the rebellion. President Coin said, "She won't be able to handle it. The games destroyed her." Someone asked Katniss if she's willing to fight with the rest of them, and she answered with conviction, "I am. I will."
The trailer viewing room back at Comic-Con last month was designed like a scene from the movie -- all-white room, white candies, and each has its own pod-like chairs. Each viewer was given his or her own Samsung tablet just to watch the trailer.
The Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 1 will hit theaters on November 21, 2014.
