Blackberry Q20 News: Blackberry goes back to basics with its newest model, highlights its famous QWERTY keyboard design
Blackberry Q20 news: The Canadian firm is wooing its die-hard fans with its newest model, the Blackberry Q20, release date of which is said to be on September 24.
Contrary to the touchscreen QWERTY keyboard of the Blackberry Z10 and Blackberry Z30, Blackberry Q20 goes old school and will have a vintage QWERTY keyboard, a feature Blackberry fans have loved over the years.
Also known as the Blackberry Classic, Blackberry Q20 will be housed in an aluminum frame reminiscent of the BlackBerry Bold series. Blackberry purists would be delighted with Blackberry Q20's vintage rectangular shape and rounded corners.
Other notable Blackberry Q20 specs include a 3.5-inch, 1440 x 1440 resolution display with 582 ppi pixel density, a dual core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, an internal memory of 8GB which can be expanded to 64GB with its built-in microSD card slot, a 2515 mAh battery, and a BlackBerry 10.3 OS. Camera specs have yet to be announced.
When it comes to connectivity, Blackberry Q20 will have Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G LTE, and NFC support.
Blackberry Q20 retail price is reportedly pegged at US$235.
