X-Men Apocalypse News, Characters, Trailer: Returning Characters, the Coming of the Apocalypse and a Balding McAvoy
If you've hung around the end credits of the last X-men movie, one will find themselves seeing the special end credits scene which will also act as a spoiler on what the next movie will be about. Teasing fans is the X-men Apocalypse 4 Horsemen scene.
According to some reports, the upcoming movie will be based loosely on the X-men Apocalypse comics where the mutants we have grown and loved will be facing the first and greatest mutant in history, Apocalypse.
Apocalypse was the first mutant and lived in Egypt. One can say that he was the great, great grandfather of mutants because it was where the X gene came from. For those who are living under a rock, the X gene is what's responsible for mutant powers to occur.
So far, there has been no in depth X-men Apocalypse news yet, however, it is known that the script will be written by Bryan Singer, Simon Kinberg, Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty.
Some of those who will be returning as X-men Apocalypse characters would be Wolverine, this time going back to his old name of Mutant X, Storm, Nightcrawler and previously deceased Jean Grey and Cyclops.
In other news, it would seem that this X-men Apocalypse spoiler going around would signal the return of some characters. In fact, James McAvoy may be returning to reprise his role of everyone's favorite professor. Since his breakout role in X-men First Class in 2011, McAvoy finds himself as the younger version of Professor Charles Xavier, a role played by Patrick Stewart in the early X-men movies. The difference is that McAvoy has hair while Stewart does not, and everybody knows or who have been following the series since its comic days, knoe that Xavier is bald. But McAvoy hinted to Huffington Post that a balding Xavier may be spotted in the upcoming X-men Apocalypse movie.
X-men Apocalypse is set for release on May 2016.
