Apple Pay: Ready to be a Hit From Day One!
Apple Pay: Ready to be a Hit From Day One!
The Tim Cook led presentation of the new iPhone models recently presented on the 9th of September this year has had many people talking and many other companies reacting to the attached changes it is posing on the tech industry. The pressure mounting cannot be as visible as it is in the payments facilitating and processing sector across the globe. Tim introduced the Apple Pay system that is set to take the world by storm.
The catch and how it can't fail:
First line of thought should be the masses that are already subscribing to apple apps and services through their flagship App Store. The service already grosses millions in revenue and is tied to more than 700 million users. It comes as no surprise then that paying for other goods through the proven secure and efficient gateway would find many users of the Apple devices on board from day one.
This can only be great news, if you are apple affiliated or if you are part of the new chain that payment transactions will flow across; the retailers that are rushing to install Apply Pay compliant point of sale systems and the banks to which Apple users deposit their earnings before splurging it using the new apparent payment giant.
Reactions:
Many large corporations would sure benefit from jumping on the bandwagon real quick, many have been seen to make strategic signings so as to take advantage of the followership already garnered by Apple Inc., which is a dominant force on the mobile market. Major US based networks provider, Softcard, has confirmed the bubble by engaging with Apple in efforts to bring the Pay service across its operators. A move that might soon bridge across mobile platforms.
The question of what remains for the established but smaller companies that look to be side-lined by the Apple innovation is left to their own innovation abilities and time. Many companies were experiencing substantial growth as mobile payment had been showing great uptake.
