It's done, it is official that the NBC is about to do a crossover across the 3 different dramas of crime. All angles of the existing Dick Wolf TV will bind together this November for a 3-part crossover, and it would involve these three popular 'Chicago PD, 'Law & Order: SVU' and 'Chicago Fire'. On November 11 this year, the chronicle about the most controversial, child pornography ring begins on "Chicago Fire," and will have a run through "Chicago PD" and "SVU" on Nov. 12. Dick Wolf, the Executive producer visualized the story together with Matt Olmstead, who operates and manages both these Chicago shows, and Warren Leight for "SVU" show runner.
Matt Olmstead and Warren Leight are two of the outstanding writers in this industry. According to Wolf, they always wanted to discover a clever way in creating a crime that would connect all 3 shows. He further added that he, Matt, and Warren came up a story as unique and big enough to accommodate all three. The 3 shows have already been established. For the last season, "PD's" Sophia Bush played the role as Erin Lindsay. "SVU" was then followed by the next episode of "Chicago PD" where Rollins (Kelli Giddish) and Tutuola (Ice-T), the SVU detectives went to Chicago. They also shared some time on screen with "Fire's David Eigenberg who played as Herrmann.
Wolf Films produced all the 3 shows in union with Universal Television. Matt Olmstead, Dick Wolf, Michael Brandt, Danielle Gelber, Peter Jankowski and Derek Haas are executive producers of the two "Chicago" series. The "Law & Order: SVU." executive producers are Warren Leight, Dick Wolf, Julie Martin, Peter Jankowski and Jonathan Starch. These the shows have strong ratings. For 'Law & Order: SVU', which just debuted Sept. 24, Wednesday with a 2.2 out of 6 in a 18-49 with 10.1 M viewers, making it the most-watched premiere season since 2007. Lastly, the 'Chicago P.D.' has a 1.9 out of 6 in a 18-49 range with 8.5 M viewers to win among CBS, NBC and ABC in total viewers.
