HTC One M8 is the Best Mobile of the Year Experts Agreed
While Apple and Samsung dominate the mobile phone market as of late, these tech giants must step their game up as HTC One gained the "Phone of the Year" award in the recently concluded T3 awards two years in a row. T3 editor Tom Dennis said that the awards this year is their most prestigious and popular to date as it combines all the judges from the industry to decide the greatest of the greats in the world of technology. The glamorous ceremony also honored Sir James Dyson, the billionaire British inventor who was crowned Tech Legend by the gadget magazine.
The HTC One M8 which was released early this year beat its tough competition iPhone 5S, Samsung Galaxy S4 and Google Nexus 5. The Android device wowed customers with its high-spec features and premium build quality. The HTC One M8 features better camera, a twisted design and a stunning 5-inch full HD display.
Bigger and Better HTC One M8
HTC announced it will release HTC One M8 Eye, a variation of M8 which will feature similar design. The only difference is the 13MP main camera, which is a major enhancement over the 4MP units. While its weight hits the scale of 157 grams, physical measures are at 146 × 70.6 × 9.4 mm. Its waistline matches the original. It will be launch next week, October 8 in an HTC event called "Double Exposure". The company will also introduce actual camera action at the event.
Expect this powerhouse smartphone to continue to harvest awards thanks to innovations like BoomSound, BlinkFeed, zero-gap aluminum body and the UltraPixel camera.
