Apple iWatch Release Date: Apple Watch NOT 'iWatch' - Dubbed as iPhone 6's Perfect Pair Set To Release On Early 2015
After taking the tech-world by storm through iPhone 6 series, Apple has another ace card on its hand that will soon hit the market.
The Cupertino technology giant company has already announced its newest product, the Apple Watch, Tech radar reported. The said smartwatch is the perfect pair for Apple's newest flagship cell phones, the iPhone 6 series.
Apple's newest wearable gadget was first seen on Tim Cook, the company's CEO. "Apple CEO Tim Cook has a big 'one more thing' announcement up his sleeve, and it was a small sapphire-coated smartwatch."
Months before its release, Cook and the rest of the Apple team was reportedly forced to announce its new gadget amid numerous speculations. A one day event prior to the gadget's released date was held to address the circling rumors and bad press.
It was cleared that unlike what media has been speculating, Apple's smartwatch was named Apple Watch and not iWatch.
Because iPhone 6 and Apple Watch is technically 'made for each other,' Apple fans have been anticipating its release date. Reports from Christian Post said that the considered launch date of the smartwatch is around early next year.
Apple Watch production was, reportedly, delayed. The rumored cause of postponement is the shortage of sapphire supply that is a main material for the new premium gadget. "Come January or February, the market will have to expect less than 10 million smartwatches due to the constraints of the said material."
Despite the troubles, Apple is reportedly committed in promoting its next-big-thing as they are now crossing the borders between technology and fashion. Classicalite said that Apple will need the support of the fashion industry to be able to make the Apple Watch a big hit.
"If the Apple Watch is going to be the company's next big hit, it can't be just sold as a tech-gadget. It has to stand on its own as a luxury fashion product too." Because of this, consumers can expect Apple advertisements and events in some major fashion gatherings, like Paris Fashion Week.
Unlike circular fashion watches, Apple Watch has a rectangular screen and it is said that it's intended to be a fashionable wearable technology. The tech-company will make this possible through having 11 watch faces. More choices is said to be coming out once it was released.
In terms of feature, this iPhone 6 partner shows updates from social media accounts of the users as well as the important notification from the phone. This feature gives the user the leeway of getting their phones inside their pocket or bag.
Apple Watch release date is still indefinite but smartwatch is said to cost $349. Expect more marketing strategies from Apple from now on.
