'Minecraft' PS4 and Xbox One: New Patch Revealed and Update Coming Soon
4J Studios has officially announced that the new patches for Minecraft Playstation 4 and Xbox One will be available soon to repair bugs, which are discovered ever since the next-generation console versions were introduced in September. Apart from repairing bugs, this also adds a feature called Copy-Save in order for players to duplicate their world.
The developer of the game made the announcement through Twitter on the 2nd of October. There are tweets revealed what 4J Studios is up to when the company wrote that there is a bug update for Minecraft Playstation and Xbox One in test for a while.
Some of the patch notes from the Minecraft forums include:

- Change to the setting "disable saving" so that this remains set for a particular save when reloading the save.
- Repair for the missing chunks in the Superflat world on the host console.
- Repair for the Glass Blocks that are placed next to one another rendering incorrectly.
- Repaired a problem with the mob spawning rates.
- Fixed problem with the mobs still aggressive while the player is invisible using the Potion.
- Repair for the players riding minecarts or boats sometimes being invisible to the remote players
- Added the Copy Save option to let people back up their own world to another save.
Apart from that, 4J Studios also revealed that work has now began on bringing the 1.6 update for Minecraft PS4 and Xbox One tot gamers. The Patch 1.6 is called Horse update. This introduces the donkeys, mules, and horses to the game. Players could ride and tame these animals. The patch also added coal blocks, carpets, and hardened clay.
The tweet of 4J Studios suggests that the console patch might encompass the content from the Patch 1.4 as well as Patch 1.5 of the Mac/PC edition. The Patch 1.4 also known as Pretty Scary Update has added the wither boss together with new monsters. The Patch 1.5 is called the Redstone Update and has introduced the Nether Quartz and some related items.
