Batman Arkham Knight Reveals and Updates: PS4 and X Box One Modes Delayed until 2015 for Final Batman Game
Batman Arkham Knight was successfully launched in the last generation consoles like the X Box 360 as well as the PS3. At the present it is time for the next generation console owners to give it a go. Apparently, the release date for the Arkham Knight next generation modes has been delayed to 2015. According to a report that was done by various media outlets, DC showed a game trailer at WonderCon and at the same time announced the release date would be pushed to 2015. The reason for this delay was not made public but the overall assumption has to do with the graphics and overall game-play associated with the open world graphics that the next generation consoles have been made so famous for.
Meanwhile there are recent reports saying that Rocksteady is not sure whether they will release the X Box One version of the game in Japan. However, this is because Japan is not known for announcing X Box One. This is because Microsoft's X Box is doing poorly in the Japanese market and is this is the case, it would not be available to avail this mode of the game. According to the Air Herald, the X Box One release for Batman Arkham Knight is good for other countries like here in the states.
Of course this is a perception which has been perpetuated by the Japanese media because they are fans of the Playstation releases more than anything else and X Box One is going to be a tough sell at the media level. As for the characters Rocksteady Studios official, Sefton Hill claimed "They wanted to introduce someone who could really challenge Batman to go head to head with him in lots of different ways." Apparently they do not want to give a lot about the Arkham Knight gameplay options but they promise that he is going to be a formidable foe for Batman, that we can be sure of.
