'Annabelle' Movie: The Creepy Haunted Doll

"Annabelle" Movie: The Creepy Haunted Doll
If you watched "The Conjuring" movie, then you probably remember the very creepy, haunted Victorian doll Annabelle that was hidden inside the basement of the ghost-hunting couple, Lorraine and Ed Warren. This scary haunted doll that made a cinematic debut in the movie "The Conjuring" has now returned with a horror film of her own.
The "Annabelle" movie somehow relates the creepy story behind the scary doll in "The Conjuring." This supernatural horror movie is directed by John R. Leonetti, written by Gary Dauberman and produced by James Wan. The film is both a spin-off of and a prequel to "The Conjuring."
The real-life Annabelle was actually a vintage doll purchased by a mother for Donna, her daughter for her birthday in 1970. In the "Annabelle" movie, however, the filmmakers made a bit of artistic license with the appearance of the doll to suit with the horror theme of the movie. The movie director, James Wan redesigned the doll for the movie to give her a much more spooky and disturbing appearance.
Donna revealed that the doll started moving around the apartment and leaving messages on parchment. The doll even attacked one of her friends, which driven her to turn to the Warrens for help. They discovered that the doll was inhabited by a demon and after failed exorcism, the Warrens built a special case for Annabelle in their Occult Museum located in New England.
According to Phil News, "Annabelle" movie is now considered as the Philippines' highest grossing foreign horror films, after the media release of the box office income results of those low-budget movies. "Anabelle" is actually a low-budget horror prequel, but with the combination of a great filmmaking, engrossing story, as well as the last year's horror movie hit, "The Conjuring," the movie "Annabelle" becomes even more successful. According to Francis Soliven, they expected the outstanding box-office performance of the movie, as the Halloween season is coming near.
The "Annabelle" movie has also been gaining much popularity in some parts of the world. This is just a manifestation of the great success of the movie throughout the world.
