Though he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis fifteen years ago, the symptoms were starting to catch up with Hal Ketchum, who is now 61 years old. As a result, Ketchum took a long hiatus after his 2008 Curb Records "Father Time" was relased. "I went through some really serious bouts of paralysis, blindness and the fear that goes with all of that. I was in kind of a dark place," he says. "I didn't write, didn't perform. I was just laying low, living in a cabin out in Wimberley, TX."

Hillsong United took tops honors Tuesday night (Oct. 7) at the Gospel Music Assn.'s 45th Annual Dove Awards, winning five Doves, including artist of the year and song of the year for "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)."
The 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards were handed out in 42 categories, as well as 4 special awards on the night of October 7th. Co-hosted by Lecrae and MercyMe's Bart Milliard, the awards drew a record attendance at the Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University. The entire show will be broadcast exclusively on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) on Sunday, October 12.

Left Behind, which opened on October 3 on 1,790 screens across the United States and 35 in Canada, has come in at #3 at the box office behind "Gone Girl" and "Annabelle." This past weekend the movie has received $6.3 million ($3,452 per screen average) in receipts.
