Hillsong Worship Makes History on Australian Chart with "OPEN HEAVEN/River Wild"

Hillsong Worship's brand new album "OPEN HEAVEN/River Wild" makes history in their homeland of Australia. The album debuts at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. This their second No.1 album to hit the top position this year, the first being UNITED's "Empires." And it's their fourth overall album to top the Aussie chart.

"Open Heaven / River Wild" by Hillsong Worship becomes the 747th No.1 album in Australia (1965 to 2015) and the 598th for ARIA (1983 to 2015) plus the 394th entry at the No.1 position and this is also the fourth No.1 album for the Hillsong record label, with the churches previous chart-topping albums being "For All You've Done" (12-July-2004), "Zion" (4-March-2013) and "Empires" (1-June-2015) which all stayed at the top for a single week.
Hillsong join sixteen other acts who have also had four No.1 albums in Australia, placing them equal 23rd on the list of 'Most No.1's: Albums', and for this decade the act has now had three No.1 albums during the 2010's, moving them from equal eighteenth to now equal eleventh on the list for 'Most No.1 Albums: 2010's' alongside Bring Me the Horizon and Lana Del Rey with three No.1's.
