Trinity Dawson Receives His First Billboard Top 5 Album with "With All I Am"
This week, new Urban Inspirational Christian/Gospel artist Trinity Dawson celebrates a hit debut across multiple Billboard charts, with his freshman album WITH ALL I AM (Dawson House Productions/New Day Distributors). The debut project from the Houston native landed at #4 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums chart, #24 on Billboard's Top Christian & Gospel Albums chart, and across genres on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart at #45. Trinity's WITH ALL I AM marks the 3rd highest charting debut from a new gospel artist this year, to date behind Casey J. and Travis Greene. WITH ALL I AM is available now in stores and all digital outlets including iTunes, GooglePlay, and AmazonMusic.
Last week, Dawson hit the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area for several retail stops, and press and radio interviews including CBN News in addition to stand-out performances at the East Coast Gospel Music Summit in Baltimore and The New Macedonia Baptist church in Washington, D.C. performing at all 3-morning worship services. This week, Trinity continues on his press and radio promotional tour with stops in Atlanta with visits on Radio One's Urban Inspirational syndicated program "The Willie Moore, Jr. Show", The Bobby Jones Gospel Countdown with Rick Joyner, SGN The Light with Morgan Dukes, WYZE- AM with Rhodell Lewis, WIGO-AM, and additional touring in Birmingham, AL (11/10); Montgomery, AL (11/10-11); Augusta, GA (11/11); Atlanta (11/11-12); and Phoenix, AZ (11/27-29).
Released on October 30th, WITH ALL I AM is filled with moving original songs that are sure to become favorites for listeners. Dawson has created a deeply personal album that can be seen in such songs as "Just Be With Me," and "You're All I Need," which acknowledge his utter dependence on God in pursuing his purpose. In more up-tempo songs like "I Win" and "I'll Wait" listeners will enjoy the urban and pop influences of Dawson's work while being inspired by the message. Dawson also collaborated with Grammy winner Aaron Sledge (Michelle Williams, Erica Campbell) on his Billboard Top 30 Gospel radio single "Not That Easy". NFL's Cleveland Browns wide receiver Andrew Hawkins collaborated with Dawson on a remix version.
Trinity Dawson's road to becoming a recording artist has not been a direct path. After achieving national notoriety as a college running back for the University of Toledo, Dawson transitioned to the business sector, becoming the youngest Director of a publically-traded, Fortune 500 company. Now as a new Urban Inspirational artist he hopes his music will encourage people as they continue their pursuit toward purpose. Ultimately, his prayer is that people will be able to say, like he does in his title track, "With all that I am, with all that I have, with all that I do, may it please You."
