Bill Moss, Jr. and the BME State Choir Release "A Testimony of Praise"
Detroit's native son Bill Moss, Jr. offers "A Testimony of Praise," the first single from his highly anticipated live recording with the BME State Choir on Salathiel Records. "Testimony" is a poignant song of personal reflection, remembering the faithfulness of God even in the midst of trying times. The song morphs into a family affair as Moss, Jr. is joined by his brother, award winning singer/songwriter and producer J. Moss for the climatic ending.
"In today's climate of social unrest, with a global pandemic and overall uncertainty of what tomorrow brings, it's my hope and prayer that this song will serve as both an encouragement and timely reminder that we not only have so much to be thankful for, but in the midst of all we're going through, God remains faithful, continues to shower His blessings and is worthy of our praise," says Moss.
Bill Moss, Jr. is an heir to a great Gospel music legacy. Eldest son of the late Bill and Essie Moss (the legendary "Bill Moss and The Celestials,") brother to James (aka "J Moss"), nephew to the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark, and cousin to music icons Karen Clark-Sheard, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark, Jacky Clark-Chisholm (the world famous "Clark Sisters") and Kiera "Kiki" Sheard, his pedigree as a musician, writer, producer and psalmist is second to none.
Bill's passion and gifting lies also in his commitment to mentoring and giving back to his community through his support and development of young musicians where he strives to provide a Godly example and message that returns them to their community to teach, work, serve and give.
