Shawn Mendes Interview and Live Acoustic Performance of 'Life of the Party' on 'Good Morning America', Watch Here (VIDEO)

Shawn Mendes stopped by "Good Morning America" to give a short interview and perform his hit single "Life of the Party" with just for his fans on Thursday (August 21) in New York City. In the interview, Mendes shares how he first got discovered by posting short singing clips on the social media, Vine. You can watch the interview and performance above. 

"See u all bright n early tomorrow 8 AM for good morning america in Time Square #ShawnOnGMA," he tweeted the night before.

The 16-year-old is currently on tour with Austin Mahone and The Vamps (see tour dates below). He is the youngest person to debut on the Billboard Hot 25 chart. 

Shawn Mendes recently released a new lyric video for his song "Show You" and tweeted "#ShowYouLyricVideo is now live on YouTube / VEVO guys ! Go watch & share."

Mendes is getting great live experience being on tour with the 18-year-old pop singer, Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, The Vamps, and Alex Angelo.
