'X-Men: Apocalypse' Release Date and Spoilers Heard: Fanatics Awaits for its Release in 2016
X-Men: Apocalypse is a new and upcoming fictional film produced for the X-Men movie series which is based on a very popular American Comic book created by Marvel Comics. It is being directed by Bryan Singer, who also directed the previous film, and announced for the upcoming in December of last year 2013. It is to be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
Writers of the film include Michael Dougherty, Dan Harris and Simon Kinberg, starring actress Jennifer Lawrence as Raven or Mystique, Channing Tatum who is rumored to act as Gambit, Michael Fassbener as Magneto, Hugh Jackman as Logan the Wolverine, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, and Even Peters as Quicksilver.
The fictional super hero film is a follow up to the previous movie X-Men: Days of Future Past, which was released last May 10, 2014 and was said to be the best reviewed and highest grossing film of the X-Men movie series. It was based on the 1981 story which was produced by Chris Claremont and John Byrne.
Not much is known about the upcoming sequel, but it has been said that the film is centered on the fictional character named "Apocalypse", as the title suggest, who is a villain also called by the name "En Sabah Nur", meaning "The First One".
He first appeared in 1986 in the Comic book series X-Factor also published by Marvel Comics and created by Louise Simonson and Jackson Guice.
The Apocalypse figure was featured in the previous film Days of Future Past, where he was manipulating the Ancient Pyramids of Egypt, and was said to be around for a very long time, probably one of the first mutants, as his name suggest, and is said to possess powers of extraordinary strength!
This is what X-Men fans have been waiting for! Probably the Ultimate Battle between the X-Men Super hero characters and the Most invincible of the Super Villains!
Watch out fans! The upcoming film X-Men: Apocalypse is expected to be released on May 27, 2016!
