'Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1' Release Date and Spoilers, Are You Ready for Another Game?
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is an upcoming science fiction film part of the Hunger Games franchise and movie series. It is based on the novel books called The Hunger Games Trilogy created and written by the well-known writer and novelist Suzanne Collins.
The first two novels of the trilogy were called The Hunger Games and Catching Fire, which were already adapted as films, released on March 23, 2012 and November 22, 2013 respectively.
The last novel of the series is called "Mockingjay" and is currently in development.
It was said that 2 films are to be developed for Mockingjay splitting it into two parts!
The film is set in a fictional world of the Hunger Games universe that is said to consist of thirteen districts headed by The Capitol as it is called where the totalitarian government rules.
Each of the 13 districts is said to have their own specialty. District 1 is said to have specialized in producing jewelry. District 2 is said to have specialized in cutting stones and producing weaponry, and is probably the training center for The Capitol's army who are called The Peacekeepers.
The Peacekeepers are said to be the police and military force in Panem which is the main location where the series takes place.
Before the beginning of the series, it was said that the thirteen districts tried to start a revolution against the ruling government who are The Capitol, but were unable to succeed. So as a punishment, it was said that a death match was created by the ruling class called "The Hunger Games". Children were selected to participate and fight in this match until only one of them survives!
Fans who have watched the first two films of the series are sure to be looking forward for the release of Mockinjay!
Mockingjay Part 1 is expected to be released on November 21, 2014, followed by the second part!
