"Arrow," inspired by the DC character "Green Arrow" is slated to be seen on CW Network on Oct. 8. Season 3 is an exact blend of the old and new- plot, characters and storyline.
CW has released a poster earlier with the caption, "Arrow faces his greatest fear in a tale we just had to call: Arrow vs. Oliver." The show's producers stated that the upcoming season will be highlighting the subject "identity," and as it suggests, Oliver will be struggling his balance between his 2 characters.
"Arrow" Season 3 news reveals Oliver will be dealing with some major changes in his life. His relationship with his best friends will be different. He will no longer manage his own company. This time he has to face the scenario, will he be living as Oliver Queen or as Arrow?
Arrow fans will be seeing their favorite cast Oliver Queen portraying the lead as "Arrow." He will still be supported by his confidant, John Diggle, Felicity Smoak and Roy Harper.
Recently, it was cited that Season 3 will highlight flashback of Oliver in Hong Kong. There will be closeness between him and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) during their first date as he recalls the first day of their meeting.
There will be new face as the series welcomes Brandon Routh, the actor behind "Superman Returns" movie playing as Ray Palmer. Marc Guggenheim, a co-writer for the show's debut episode said that there will be a fresh and longer role for Routh.
Another character to be watched in the season debut is the popular Canary (Black Canary in comics).
"Arrow" Season 3 news include that there will be two actors that will be joining the cast. Devon Aoki of "Sin City" will be reprising her guest role as Tatsu Yamashiro, a Japanese martial arts expert.
Another new character Maseo Yamashiro will be played by Real Steel's Karl Yune. He will be Tatsu's husband in the series and the one going to lend a hand to Oliver while he was in Hong Kong. Both the two characters will be appearing on Oliver's flashback in the show. Definitely, viewers can expect exciting fight scenes in the opening.
