NBA Trade Rumors and Updates: Gerald Wallace wants to Remain with Celtics and Hibberts to go to Cavaliers
There are more trade rumors coming out of the NBA grapevine as the opening date for the 2014-2015 season approaches. The most prominent and mentioned among them is the possible trade for Roy Hubert of the Indiana Pacers or a number of guys from the Cavaliers. As such, it would seem like the Cavaliers would like as much as possible to have a solid lineup of players this season in order to at least reach the playoffs. Early enough, the team managed to convince Lebron James to come back from Miami Heat and they have also snagged a deal for Kevin Love from the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, they would still need a big guy to complete the middle and Hubert may just be the guy for the job in the painted area.
In return the Pacers have been rumored to asked for Verajo and Don Waiters from the Cleveland Cavaliers in order to make this work. Apparently the combination of the market worth would be enough to trade off with Roy Hibbert. There are no details as yet to whether the deal is going to go through. At the same time, Gerald Wallace from the Boston Celtics has very openly that he does not want to be traded off from his team. There have been speculations that he was the next player on the trade list after his team mate Rajon Rondo was said to have been traded sometime earlier this soon.
It seems that the veteran player would like nothing better than to stay with his team at this time. In an interview with the Boston Herald, the forward mentioned, "I don't want to go nowhere else. I'm happy here. I'm content here with these guys." Some of the other guys that are speculated to be in the trade list for this season include Paul Millsap and Goran Dragic. They both have expiring contracts which makes them the perfect options to be traded this season before they are considered free agents.
