Marvin had this message to share on social media about what being featured on the series meant for him.
"I'm deeply honored to share that I'll be performing on @nprmusic #tinydesk for Black History Month. This platform is more than just a stage; it's a cultural touchstone, a space where music is stripped down to its purest form, allowing the message to resonate even louder.
After 30+ years in this genre, it still humbles me that people find my voice, my perspective, and my melodies relevant. Longevity in this industry isn't promised, and to still be invited into these spaces, to still have something to say that connects, it means everything.
I don't take it lightly. And trust me, this moment will be special. Stay tuned."
